【Tokyo Midtown Store Gallery】48th Exhibit: Entering the World of Sento

From 8 September until 24 January 2024, Toraya will hold an exhibition on Sento at Tokyo Midtown Store Gallery.

Sento (Public baths) have been popular for the past several hundred years as places to relax and communicate with others on a daily basis in Japan. The number of Sento has been decreasing year by year, but the younger generation has become more interested in it as the retro and emotional aspect of Sento have been used as a setting for movies.

This exhibition is an introduction to such Sento. Welcome to the world of Sento, where you experience comfort and warmth.
